Empowering Senegalese STEM Educators with AI Tools and Google Workspace Integration
Today we’re officially launching AI4STEAM — Senegal’s very own Teacher Education Network dedicated to exploring and applying artificial intelligence in STEM classrooms! Over the past months, a passionate group of educators, researchers, and technologists have been hard at work building resources, case studies, and community events — all designed to help you bring AI into your teaching practice.

- Our new website at ai4steam.org, featuring research insights, tutorials, and a regularly updated blog.
- Monthly webinars on immersive learning environments with guest experts from DEC’s strategic partners and the Teranga IA network.
- A growing YouTube library of hands-on training videos produced by DEC Studio USA.
Google Workspace application We’re thrilled to announce that AI4STEAM is now available as a Google Workspace add-on. That means you and your colleagues can:
- Import our AI-powered lesson templates directly into Google Docs and Slides, complete with discussion prompts, quizzes, and collaborative brainstorming tools.
- Run live sentiment analysis on student responses in Google Forms, so you can adapt your teaching in real-time.
- Access our shared Drive folder of code-along notebooks and sample data sets — no extra downloads required.
💡 Getting started:
- Go to the Google Workspace Marketplace and search for “AI4STEAM.”
- Click Install, then grant the few permissions needed.
- Open Docs, Slides, or Forms to see AI4STEAM in the “Add-ons” menu.
