AI4STEAM connects teachers from all 14 regions of Senegal into one innovative network advancing STEM and AI
AI4STEAM: A National Movement for STEM and AI in Senegal
AI4STEAM is a national initiative dedicated to transforming education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) across Senegal and Francophone Africa. The initiative is led through a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Education of Senegal and the Southern University System of Louisiana (SUS) — the only Historically Black College and University (HBCU) system in the United States. Coordinated by Digital Education Consulting (DEC), a nonprofit organization headquartered in Senegal, AI4STEAM mobilizes local and international actors to build a future-ready, inclusive, and technology-driven education system.
